Life & All Its Beautiful Chaos

So… Here We Are… I Did a Thing…

Let’s hypothetically say we’re sitting across from each other in a coffee shop (because I love me some coffee shop vibes!). This would be the moment I take a sip of a dairy-free iced mocha latte, lean in, and say, “So… I did a thing. I finally stepped out of my comfort zone. And I have NO IDEA where to go from here.” *nervous chuckle*

I like to call this thing “Too Many Tabs with Wendy.”

Full disclosure from a reluctantly social yet ironically neurodiverse chica: my brain is basically a browser window that never got the memo about closing tabs. You know that meme where the person has too many tabs open, some are frozen, and there’s music playing, but you have no idea where it’s coming from?? Yeah, that’s me in a nutshell. Daily.

Some people live streamlined lives with one passion, one clear path. Me? I collect passions like some people collect coffee mugs (I do that too, btw) — careers, skills, stories, recipes, and random rabbit holes even Alice would be intimidated by. I like to keep it interesting.

Who Am I and Why I’m Here

Since we’re just meeting, let me introduce myself. I’m Wendy (WendyWanda if you’re feeling playful) — I’m a marketing strategist by trade, a writer by nature, and a multipotentialite by design. I’ve built campaigns, coached leaders, spoken on stages, and written about wellness in the workplace to spread the message about all-around mental well-being. Outside of that? You might find me trudging my way through motherhood with two teenagers, experimenting with herbs & spices in the kitchen, diving into disasters (because everyone has that one random quirk), or chasing down some strange-but-fascinating idea that popped into my head at 2 a.m. while doomscrolling myself to sleep. In short: I’m endlessly curious, definitely nerdy, and absolutely more fun than your average LinkedIn post.

I’ve spent years working in marketing, storytelling, and strategy while also juggling about a dozen side interests at any given time. Along the way, I’ve realized something: the “too many tabs” life isn’t useless madness — it’s my own personal ecosystem. Every weird skill and curiosity eventually connects to something useful, creative, or unexpectedly hilarious.

That’s what this site is all about — making sense of a many-tabbed brain, and maybe helping you make sense of yours.

What You Can Expect

  • Stories about what I’m learning, trying, and sometimes failing at
  • Practical takeaways you might be able to use in your own work or life
  • A reminder that curiosity is not chaos — it’s fuel for innovation
  • And my somewhat sarcastic sense of humor, because what’s the point if we can’t laugh about whatever nonsense is going on?

Through all of this, you’ll get the “beyond-the-tabs” version of me: deeper dives, personal reflections, experiments, and a peek at how I’m connecting dots in real time.

Why You Should Stick Around

If you’ve ever felt like you’re too much — too curious, too scattered, too ambitious, and going in too many directions — you’re not. And you’re not alone. You’re my people, my tribe. And I like to think you’ll find something here that feels like home.

So grab a cup of coffee, pull up a seat, and let’s see where all these tabs take us. I would love to have you along for the ride.

Because honestly? Life’s more fun when we don’t close all the tabs.
